There are 3 types of lifts: the overhead, dockside and the free standing.
Muskoka Boatlifts only sells dockside lift (for jet skis and small boats)
The Overhead Lifts:
Will need to be installed in a boathouse or boat port and is the most cost effective boat lift choice. We recommend contacting Ace Boat Lifts of Muskoka if you are interested in more information about overhead cable lift please follow the link below.
The dockside boat lifts:
Are for small boats/jet skis can be found on the jet ski page.
Unfortunately Muskoka Boatlifts does not sell/install a dockside lift for large boats. Please refer to Viking Boatlifts in Oakville (Click Link Below for more information).
Deep water installations and winter boat storage can be accommodated by this lift.
Free standing cable lifts:
These lifts have an aluminum structure in the water to lift the boat. They will need to be removed from the water for the winter and are available with a manual or electric winch.
The ideal water depth is 12" to 66".
